For ten years I have turned research into production systems, from computer vision to open-source infrastructure to trustworthy AI. Gurubase [1] turns a company’s documents and tools into AI agents that cite every answer, attach a trust score, and decline when the evidence is thin, and it runs fully air-gapped for regulated industries [2]. Before that I co-founded Ddosify, later Anteon, whose open-source performance tools passed one million Docker pulls [3] and 8,500 GitHub stars [4].

### Gurubase (2024–present, In market)

An AI agent platform for company knowledge. Agents answer from sources such as Confluence, Jira, Zendesk and Google Drive, show the passages they used, score their own confidence and refuse when the context is weak. They can also call APIs and run actions. Customers choose managed cloud in the EU or Türkiye, their own cloud, or a fully air-gapped install with self-hosted models [2].

### Siper (2026–present, Early access)

Masks personal data in Turkish text before it reaches a language model, covering 26 categories including the special categories of KVKK, Türkiye’s data protection law. It runs on servers in Istanbul as an API, an OpenAI-compatible gateway or an MCP server. The masking model was fine-tuned for Turkish [18].

### Anteon, formerly Ddosify (2021–2024, Open source)

Kubernetes monitoring and performance testing. It began as Ddosify, a load-testing engine written in Go, and grew into a platform that uses eBPF to map traffic between services without code changes. It gathered 2,443 GitHub stars in its first month [20], and I am its largest contributor by commits [21].

- Ranked 20th among the new developer tools of 2022 by StackShare [22] and listed in the CNCF Cloud Native Landscape [23].
- Insider’s engineering team chose it over JMeter, Locust, k6 and Gatling for performance testing [24].
- Red Hat published an architecture for latency-driven orchestration built on its latency API [25], and Docker featured its desktop extension on the Docker blog [26].

### Alaz (2023–2024, Open source)

An eBPF agent that watches service-to-service traffic inside Kubernetes clusters without sidecars, code changes or restarts. It has 712 GitHub stars [15] and is listed in the eBPF Foundation’s application landscape [27].

## Recognition

- **2026:** Seal of Excellence, European Commission. Awarded to the Gurubase proposal in the EIC Pre-Accelerator programme.
- **2025:** Finalist, BAŞLAT LLM Impact Programme [28]. Gurubase was one of nine finalists among 19 startups in the programme run by Meta, the Türkiye AI Initiative and Hello Tomorrow.
- **2024:** O‑1A visa, United States. Petition filed by Ddosify Inc.; approved by USCIS on 15 November 2024.
- **2023:** 20th among the new developer tools of 2022, StackShare [22]. Ddosify ranked in a list that also included ChatGPT and Astro.
- **2022:** Investment from 500 Emerging Europe, now e2vc [8][9][29]. Reported by Webrazzi, egirişim and StartupCentrum. Terms were not disclosed.
- **2021:** Grand Prize and KoçSistem Special Award, METU Yeni Fikirler Yeni İşler [13][14]. Ddosify shared the Elginkan Foundation Grand Prize at METU Technopolis’s early-stage startup competition.
- **2021:** TÜBİTAK BiGG 1512 entrepreneurship grant [12][30]. Ddosify was among the winners of the BiGG3 call run by METU Technopolis, Arçelik Garage and KWORKS; the project was completed in 2022.
- **2016:** First place, OBSS ITalent Roadshow. Algorithm and Java programming competition held at Hacettepe University.
